2015 Challenge

Many years ago I met a restaurant owner. She held the belief that what happened on the 1st of the year would guide what happened in the rest of the year. So she made sure her restaurant was always opened on New Year's Day. That belief made more sense to me than the making of New Year resolutions that generally fall to the wayside within the first month. I practiced that belief for many years by having friends over for New Year's Day. The morning started with a home cooked breakfast of menudo and biscuits and gravy. The day was spent talking, laughing, drinking, and playing games.
